thin ultrasound probe is inserted into the rectum, covered with a protective sheath and lubricant.<\/li>\n<li>The probe transmits sound waves that create a detailed image of the prostate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The examination usually takes 5\u201310 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>It is not a painful procedure, but it may cause a mild feeling of pressure.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><div
